Chrysler 100 2.0L Tigershark

2.0L TIGERSHARK ENGINE

16-valve four-cylinder
160 horsepower
148 lb-ft of torque
Variable Valve Timing (VVT)
Choice of six-speed manual or available six-speed automatic transmission

Those are from the Dart, I'm not sure if the 100 will carry forward the Manual option. Its costly to manufacture them if the Chrysler clientele is not at all interested.

In the Dart with its rated at 24 city/27 combined/34 highway with the automatic

with the manual it comes out to 25 city/29 combined/36 highway.

Doesn't this engine also come boosted with a turbo?
Heard a few of them pass by me, even some from a standstill and accelerating away and they sound amazing

oh ok, that makes sense, making the smaller displacement come boosted to do what a bigger 4 cylinder can do.

No, the Abarth has the 1.4T which is also available in the Dart/100. But the Abarth is such a little car it really packs a punch!

I somehow doubt that the 100 will be getting a manual. I just don't think it makes sense for a car like this. The take rate would be so low that they would lose money by having to manufacture it.

I do too, the idea of it having one is cool and all and I believe they likely won't put one in it.
Instead the closest we can get to it is with a DCT which I would love to have, pull one from the dart.
