If the engines are the same as the Dart, what's the point in even testing it with a different body?

Well, they do make changes to the engine over time, plus they have to fine tune that engine for the vehicle it's going into. can't just drop it in and call it a day.

I guess things like weight and aerodynamics will change the way that the engine performs. Plenty of variables.

weight is a big one with this, not so much aerodynamics.
cutting weight in a vehicle like this will boost one of the key things people look out for in it.

weight and aerodynamics will not change how the engine performs. IT will emprove effectiveness but not output..
